Music and Visual Arts Curriculum

Music and Visual Arts are the two major areas of the arts program. The music and arts curriculums emphasize understanding of the discipline and the acquisition of skills. There is a strong focus on art and music as fundamental modes of self-expression. Emphasis is also placed on developing in students an enjoyment in and appreciation for the arts as an integral part of life. Drama is offered as part of the seventh and eighth grade electives program.
